HOW TO PREPARE YOUR FILES

For Analog Summing

  • We offer analog summing on a 16 channel Neve summing mixer. That said we can work with up to 16 mono stems or upto 8 stereo stems. You could also provide any combination of mono and stereo stems (e.g. 2 mono stems for let’s say kick and bass PLUS 7 stereo stems)

  • Prevent excessive peaks exceeding 0 dBFS. Ideally, Peaks don't necessarily have to be close to 0 dBFS.

  • Whenever possible, avoid excessive compression.

  • Bit Rate: ideally 32-bit Floating Point or 24-bit. 16-bit is also acceptable, if necessary.

  • Please refrain from applying dither. Sample rate: same as the original. Avoid upsampling or downsampling. Files should be in WAV or AIFF format. MP3 files won’t work.

  • Any method of file transfer is welcome.

For Mastering

  • Avoid Limiter on Master Bus.

  • Avoid Peaks Level above 0 dBFS.

  • Leave enough Headroom: ideal Peaks level between -3 and -6 dBFS.

  • Files should be WAV or AIFF. NO Mp3.

  • Bit Rate: ideally 32 bits Floating Point or 24 bits. 16 also doable, in case. Please Do Not Apply Dither.

  • Sample rate: same as your original one. Do Not Upsample or Downsample.

  • Any Transfer File Method is welcome.

  • It’s ok to process your Master Bus if you know what you are doing, in which case we suggest you to send us both dry and wet version.

  • If you’ve recorded your Master Bus directly from your hardware Mixer or you’ve lost your project and you can’t then avoid eventual process done on the Master bus no problem, we will figure out a solution together.

  • Any method of file transfer is welcome.
